One blade broke off and the repair manual says to replace them exactly as they were. I have none to compare it too. Please help!

  1. My tractor has 3 blades on it. the center one is at 90 degrees from the other two. If they were all parallel they hit when turning.  I have had them off for sharpening and had to put them on at 90 degrees to keep them from hitting.

  2. It couldn't possibly make any difference. The blades spin so fast it would not matter.

  3. if theyre all belt driven, belt slippage, which is inevitable, will make blade placement irrelevant. the book is probably referring to not installing them upside down.

  4. It really doesnt matter. I take mine off to sharpen and put them back on any way I can. I dont however put them on where they could possibly touch.
