The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is a really good book. It is about a boy called Christopher Boone and he is autistic. He finds one of his neighbours' dogs dead in her front garden and writes a 'murder mystery' book, trying to find out who killed Wellington. He finds out a lot of other things in the way.

it's about an autistic teenage boy named Christopher who discovers his neighbors dog stabbed with a pitchfork. he is wrongly accused of the crime and so decides to find the killer. in his search he finds out that his father lied about his mothers death, she was alive and divorced. feeling betayed he runs away to find his mother encountering many obstacles because of his autism. this story is modern day and i'm pretty sure takes place in England
