What is the breed of my fish?

Question

Its nickname of the breed is "Cribs" or something, i cant find any info on them anywhere!!!!! What type of fish is it? Where can i find some information on them???

Kribensis, a really cool fish to breed, just put a male and female in the same tank with some sort of cave to lay the eggs! They will spawn and protect the eggs and the fry. Most pet stores other than petco and petsmart will take tham!=)

Like BG says, you will be thinking of Kribensis.

They are a cichlid, but a fairly small and peaceful one. Expect them to grow to 3 or 4" long. They can be territorial when breeding, but as long as the tank is big enough other fish can keep out of their territory.

Good tankmates are similar sized community or semi-agressive fish. I have mine with tiger barbs and some big plecos, no problems.
