  1. Amino Acids, there are 9 essential ones that your cells need to form new protein cells.

  2. What an odd question to ask in vegans and vegetarians.

The building block is amino acids. You body needs about 9 of them (there is some debate about the number) the 11 other essential amino acids can be synthesized in your body.

  3. amino acids

  4. Amino acids.

  5. Proteins are organic compounds which are an essential part of living cells and vital for human growth and development.

Proteins are made up of 23 smaller units called amino acids. The body usually cannot make eight of them, thus we need them from food.

From my head..amino acids are made up of the functional group carboxylic acid [-COOH] and an anmine group. [NH2]

Sources of protein can be obtained from meat, pultyry and eggs..

however they can also easily be obtained through the combinations of plants and milk products that do not contain meat.

For example.. Milk, yogurt, cheese, cereal, legumes, vegetables and nuts. etc

  6. soy?
