What is the material called that's in bulletin boards. The brown thing. That the tacks go into. Cork Board? Im going to make a bulletin board and need that material but i don't know what it's called!

Yes, it's a cork board. You can get them pretty much everywhere: Walmart, Joanns, other craft stores, Office Depot, and other office stores.

YES,,, cork board.

You can also use a paperboard product called homasote (check spelling),,,, it's paint-able, but makes a mess when you cut it to install.
