The Crosman 1377 is a very nice pistol for the $$

Later: <Added> The Benjamin EB22, HB17 & HB22 are all nice pistols, they are also over your $100 limit or I would have included them. And while they cost over twice as much as the Crosman 1377 the Benjamin HB(pump) pistols are less powerful. The EB22 is around $113 it's a .22 cal CO2 pistol(500fps). I don't care too much for CO2 airguns but, if I were to get one, the EB22 would be my choice of CO2 pistols.

All of these consider a perfect shot in the kill area(head) >IMO all of those fpe numbers are low*<

BB pistol - 5.1gr BB

480fps - Muzzle energy = 2.61fpe

480fps BB pistol at 15 feet = 2.27fpe

480fps BB pistol at 30 feet = 1.98fp

A 480fps BB pistol does not have enough fpe at the muzzle to kill a pigeon.

Pellet pistol - 6.9gr pellet

600fps - Muzzle energy = 5.52fpe

600fps pellet pistol = 30 feet = 4.61fpe

600fps pellet pistol = 75 feet = 3.53fpe

The pellet pistol delivers more fpe at 25 yards than the BB pistol has at the muzzle.
