De la Hoya only lost to greats (Hopkins,Mosley,Trinidad) ^ I think the buzz around this fight is the fact that we know its not a fight that has to be done especially on Mayweathers part who has so many great options to prove himself has a great fighter. The only story line i see in this won is can DLH out point him and continue his 3 win last year of career.

I see Mayweather stopping De La Hoya this time inside of 8 rounds.  Oscar was great but he is finished.  Mayweather has 3-4 more great fights left in him.  He's never been in a war and he should stop DLH, Cotto and Mosley and then call it a career.

I like the first guys answer... De La has a chance to prove that he is a Hall of Fame type fighter and could leave on top..

if u watched the fight on May 5th i think it was, De la hoya vs Forbes, de la hoya dominated and said the fight is not scheduled yet. i had heard may 20th but he said it himself. so until then, we'll wait, i sure hope de la hoya knocks that cocky floyd out
