What is the capacity of the hotels on the Las Vegas Strip?

After a recent trip to Vegas...we got to wondering...how many rooms ARE there on that thing? How many end up occupied on an average day?

We were told when we went there that on the strip alone there is 95000 rooms and on a normal weekend they have about 80% occupied i don't know how close to the mark that is but the MGM has over 5000 rooms itself so it's probably close
