Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE, not Dubai. Both Abu Dhabi and Dubai are part of the 7 emirates that make up the country of the UAE.

There is not a capital for Dubai 'cause it's a city not a country,it's a city in UAE or united Arab of Emarates and the capital of UAE is Abu Dhabi but Dubai is more famous because of its beauty and technological improvement

Actually, Dubai is a City and it was an independant Sheikhdome / Emirate. But later on exactly in 1971 the 6 emirates came into one union of emirates and in 1972 Ras Al-Khaimah also joined with. So these union of 7 emirates called United Arab Emirates (UAE - Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al-Khaimah, Fujairah & Um Al-Quwain).

The Capital of the UAE is Abu Dhabi, the Second highest economy in UAE is Dubai and there is no separate capital city for Dubai.
