  1. What kind of aircraft? A Cessna 150 or a Boeing 747? And how much does it fly? A Cessna 150 has a smaller footprint than many cars, but it only carries 2 people. A 747 has a giant footprint but it carries hundreds of people. A big footprint is OK if it has a big benefit. A bus has a much bigger footprint than a car, but most environmentalists say the bus is greener because it carries more people.

  2. This is a really hard equasion to answer without having the value for A.  If you could provide that I might be able to help you out.
