What is the cause of ACHES during the FLU?

I am sick and pretty sure i do have the flu... I'm just curious to see what makes the body ache so bad? I Cant seem to do anything. :(

  1. Your body produces substances as if you are fighting a tumor.  These "factors" make us feel lousy.

    Get some rest and enough fluids.  Hope you feel better.
