  1. 99/100

  2. 1 in 3. But you need to understand statistics to fully be aware as to what this means. It all depends on you personal disposition and any other risk factors that may alter your own personal situation. (i.e. if you smoke, are overweight, use a tanning bed regularly, talk on a mobile phone several hours each day, drink plenty of diet coke, work at a nuclear power plant and come home at the end of a day to listen to the crackling sound of the 500KV powerlines which run over the top of your house, I'd say that you may have a marginally increased personal risk compared to the remaining population.

By the way, I thought that my risk profile was pretty low, but I still got cancer.

    Good Luck!!

  3. No matter what the statistics are, if you get cancer, then it is 100%, and if you don't, it's 0 %.

Government statistics for Canada estimate that your lifetime chance of getting cancer are about 25%.  This will vary depending upon where you live in the world, your family history, your access to good health care, your nutrition during your lifetime, your exposure to carcinogens, etc.
