(i.e. if you smoke, are overweight, use a tanning bed regularly, talk on a mobile phone several hours each day, drink plenty of diet coke, work at a nuclear power plant and come home at the end of a day to listen to the crackling sound of the 500KV powerlines which run over the top of your house, I'd say that you may have a marginally increased personal risk compared to the remaining population.

By the way, I thought that my risk profile was pretty low, but I still got cancer.

Government statistics for Canada estimate that your lifetime chance of getting cancer are about 25%.  This will vary depending upon where you live in the world, your family history, your access to good health care, your nutrition during your lifetime, your exposure to carcinogens, etc.
