you cant really put a chance behind it. it can happen on any given day to any person. So many factors play a roll. but you can prevent it by avoiding obvious factors like speeding or driving under the influence. Also make sure to wear your seat belt.

Not possible to give a statistic. Any time you drive or ride in a car the chance of an accident happening is present. I got put in the hospital for 15 days because i was hit by a drunk driver last year. Never in a million years would i have thought it would happen to me.
