  2. I have no idea what the prices in Europe are but here in the US 40 inch LCD TVs are advertised for $700 - $1,000 and some people have been able to negotiate $100 - $150 off of that price. There are a couple of Chinese and Korean brands that dominate the bottom of the price list and still deliver a high quality picture and sound.

    With the Euro being so strong we have many Europeans coming to New York and Philadelphia to have a shopping vacation. They literally spend several thousand Euros shopping, then have everything shipped back by UPS or Fed-Ex and still take time to see the sights.
