  1. My cousins & I took a Haggis Adventures tour in Scotland last summer & had the most amazing time. We did the 7 day Island Explorer tour, and had sooo much fun.  The tour guide was a really cool girl who was knowledgeable about all the places we went, the other people on the tour (ranging in age from me - (15 at the time) to late 30s, with mostly 20 & early 30s) were really nice and fun to travel with and the scenery was beautiful.

We just toured through Scotland, though. We took a train from London to Edinburgh.

I've never taken a Contiki tour, but I've heard mixed reviews. Some people love it, others...don't. I think it really has to do with the guide & the people you're touring with, and you can never know who they'll be. Most of the ppl are university-aged, I think.

Trafalger is another tour company for younger ppl & so it's probably less expensive.

The cheapest way by far would be to just take coaches (bus) to where you want to go. You will save soooo much money if you do that, you see much of the same beautiful scenery, and you'll have more independence. You can take day tours of the places you want to see or hire a car for the day. You'll have more control over where you stay, too, and that's a perk. Since you're married, you don't have to worry so much about meeting other ppl like the young singles who take Contiki & whatnot. Petrol prices are really high, but you might want to look into hiring a car because driving there is the best way to see things. You just have to be 18 in some places and 21 in others.

    Have a great trip! : )

  2. I would try contiki travel. It was featured on the MTV real world Sydney. They have all kinds of travel packages for 18-24 yr olds and older ages. You can also choose a trip based on your budget. From camping, motels, hotels to luxury accommodations. They plan the whole trip for you and it can be pretty cheap. Check out their website.
