  1. Instant noodles.  Add fresh veggies (bok choy, siu choy, gai lan...) and sliced green onions, plus an egg for protein.  MMMmmmm.

  2. Potato chips with ketchup over it.

  3. rice crispy treats.

If your looking into main dishes look to peasant dishes. Yummy Cuban peasant dishes are Picadillo which is chopped meat with stock, onions, stuffed green olives, garlic, green pepper and a few additional ingredients. Paired with rice it feeds a family on the cheap.  Also a favorite is an egg over easy mixed with white rice.  People use a vareity of toppings for this including tomato sauce, hot sauce or lemon juice.

  4. hot dogs!!

  5. pizza

  6. Spaghetti with sauce you can feed a lot of folks for next to nothing and splurge with some garlic bread.  I bake slices of plain old white bread spread with oleo or butter sprinkled with garlic salt, cut each slice into four "fingers" bake until they are crisp and golden brown.  Make plenty because left overs make  a great snack.

  7. if you like chicken and rice try this:  cream of chicken X2 cans  and equal amounts of water (i use one extra can) in a crock pot cook add about 6 chicken legs or whatever pieces of the chicken that you prefer. cook on low for about 12 hours. Remove the bones and place the chicken gravy over rice add salt and pepper to taste.

For a nice variation add baby carrots while the chicken is cooking in the crock pot. my family and friends love it.

  8. Macaroni and Cheese

  9. beans 'n' rice

  10. MAC AND CHEESE

  11. buy chicken thighs or drumsticks deep fry them and ur good ad bbq sauce or hot sauce and buy french fries bag and deep fry and onion rings bag and deep fry

    or

buy two loafs of garlic bread or regular italian bread loafs and pour tomato sauce on them and sprinkle mozzerella on top and throw into oven and heat them till cheese melts and u have french bread pizza

  12. hamburger helper, chicken helper and tuna helper

  13. peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but go out and buy pizza

  14. Unfortunately, ramen noodles.  About 13 cents for a package.  It's not nutritious really, and full of sodium, but it can be really tasty with a splash of sesame oil!

  15. Pasta du Frommage (Macaroni and Cheese) ummm yum yum

Kraft in the box of course for under a buck

  16. potatoes are cheap, yummy, easy and filling.  you can bake them in the oven or microwave and you dont need any other ingredients.  lots of ways to do potatoes.  boil till they are tender.  you can add vegetables,  or meat to them too if you have it and fry all together.  even hot dogs can be sliced and fryed with potatoes and you can get hotdogs real cheap. spagetti and jar or canned sauce is cheap and yummy too.  apples are pretty cheap & good for you.  a gallon of milk is cheap too.  you should be able to get 10 pounds of potatoes for about 4 dollars or less (that should last you weeks),  a bag of apples you should be able to get for about 4 dollars (one a day should last you about a week or so), a gallon of milk should cost about 3 dollars (and if you drink a glass  a day should last about a week).  that is less than 11 dollars a week.  you might get 4 or 5 chicken b*****s for 8 dollars and you can cut each in half and have 1/2 a day.  you are up to 19 dollars.  a pound of spagetti you can get for a dollar and a jar of sauce for 2 dollars (that should be about 4 servings or so).  thats 22 dollars for a week.  bags of frozen veggies can be bought for 2 dollars or less and you should get 3-4 servings or so from one bag.  so if my quick calculations are about right, you can eat for a week on 24 dollars and have yummy food.  you can go to google.com and type in recipes for ...and whatever food  you want to use.  don't forget to take your multi vitamin/mineral daily :)  good luck!
