What is the cheapest camping site in the Lake District(UK)?

Question

going camping on Bank Holiday monday (25th). . And quite fancy the lakes.,i have loads of sites that i can go on,which give me a review. . But i have to phone up for prices. . And there are loads of them. . Any help would be helpful. . Thanks

Some sites give prices on line which saves time and money.  You tend to get what you pay for, cheaper sites have fewer facilities.  The one at Wastdale was always a good one and N.T. at Great Langdale or Castlerigg at Keswick  Be sure to book as far in advance as possible as I have ended up camping in the car park one bank hol and in Penrith in a b and b cos there was no space on any sites.
