  1. You'll have to call around.  Michigan is a true no fault state so your driving experience, salary, zip code and many other factors are going to be used in determining your rate.  Also, if you have a car that doesnt need comprehensive or collision coverages, you can probably catch a break but in any terms, you will be paying a higher premium until you hit at least 3 years of driving history or age 25.

  2. Try using http://My-InsuranceSearch.com to compare car insurance rates for all the major providers in your area.

  3. Yeah too many factors involved. Are you going to be on the policy by yourself or with a parent? Vin number of the vehicle? Are you getting any other lines of business (renters home owners, life) sometimes that gets you a discount with State Farm Allstate and Farmers. Any Defensive driving or Drivers Training courses. Just call or go online Progressive does everything online or on the phone.

  4. Just call around and ask.  No one here, even an insurance agent, an give you any good info without a whole lot more info.

  5. You can try this company - http://carquotes.sinfree.net - I personally have their car insurance in Michigan.

As I know they have most affordable insurance policies for young drivers in our area.

  6. you know,if you want to get the most relevant answers, you got to try to find it out yourself, since only yourself knows what you really want.here is a good resource for you to start.http://car-insurance.online-tips.info/ca...

  7. Rates vary from company to company.  The only way to know for sure is to comparison shop.

By getting multiple quotes you will most likely see several hundred dollars difference between the lowest to the highest quote. More quotes that you get more likely that you will save money.

One of the simplest ways to get multiple quotes is to take advantage of some of the more reputable free on-line quoting services.  Following is a list of some of the better ones.  They seem to be reliable, their sites are secure and there's no obligation to buy.

You also should check out http://www.InsuranceEasy.org they have one of the better consumer insurance sites that I have come across on the web.  They provide consumers with links to not only the above services but also many other reliable online quoting services.  Also they have a lot of resources to help consumers make informed decisions.

Even if you don't want to purchase insurance on-line you still can request quotes.  I've known many people who would use the free services to find out which insurance company offers the best rate and then they would go and purchase the insurance from a local agent who represents that company.

    Hope this helps.

    God Bless!

  8. Call around. It depends on how much coverage whether it is liability etc, kind of car and driving record. It can vary alot. At that age you pay up the kazzo.

  9. You've asked an impossible to answer question.  It would depend on, among other factors, gender, ZIP code, what vehicle, credit rating, driving record of the individual.

A 22 year old female, 6 year driving record, no tickets, no accidents, in a small town in MI would obviously pay less than the 17 year old boy racer with the Mustang, 12 speeding tickets and 4 at fault accidents in Detroit.
