I depends when are you traveling..Now Going to the Canal is not a big deal..you just transit for 10 hours and you usually do not stop anywhere in Panama...If you are interested in how the ccanal works then thumps up..but really, is not a biggy cause you do not stop there.

The question should not be who is the cheapest, but rather the best time to go through the Panama Canal.  Any cruiseline that markets during the summer months through the Panama Canal is probably not making a full transit.  

The best and least expensive time to take the trip through the Canal is during the repositioning cruises normally the end of spring/beginning of summer or beginning of fall, when the ships go from/to their ports in the Caribbean to the Alaska routes.  These are normally discounted to decent rates and all the cruiselines do these itineraries.  Normally they will start in Florida transit the canal and go to LA, Seattle, San Fran or Vancouver.  Check these out if you are looking for a deal.  I've seen some really great prices taking the Panama Canal cruise this way.
