  1. lots of 1 day sales on Wednesday's ...

  2. There is no such thing as  a cheap day of the week for booking cruises.  Most cruise lines have their cruises listed on their web sites for at least a year in advance.  Some dates they will list as "hot" or "special" dates but those cruises are available at that "special" price until they are sold out.  Prices do not change by the day.  Prices are also lower in the "off" or low season.  For example ALaska cruises are cheaper in May and September.

If you want to find a good price on a cruise start looking very early, like up to a year in advance.  Then be flexible with your travel date.  Don't expect to find  a deal on your special day, on a holiday, or on high travel dates.  The price of a cruise can vary by hundreds of dollars, depending upon the date you select.  Check out this web page from Royal CAribbean and you'll see what I mean:  http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruis...

Book when you can get the lowest price.  Check out the other cruise lines for the same things.

  3. I agree that the cruise line drop their rates the closer it gets to the cruise date and the boat is not filled up.

  4. Any time, check out my 360 page to learn why.

  5. There is no cheapest day. Cruiselines will only drop the price as it gets closer to the date of departure if not enough people have booked yet. I usually start my research at vacationstogo.com. I get an idea of when, where and how much. I compare at other sites. If you book through a travel agent check if they will give you a rebate once you book and the price goes down. Many will.
