  1. depends on the time of day, the season and how long for. day trips vary from £28 to £70. usually Sea France is cheaper than P&O. it is worth calling the companies for a quote first. bon voyage

  2. P&O and Seafrance are both competitive.I Dover-Calais is definitely the cheapest way to go to France.

    Find out more at http://www.aferry.to/gwmapcompare.htm

, this website compare Ferry prices.

  3. try eurotunnel it only takes 35 minutes and prices start from £40 return,

  4. Go for www.speedyferries.co.uk they have very good offers.

  5. Try www.speedferries.com. It costs £25 for a car and 2 people. They sail from Dover to Boulogne, the crossing is only 55 minutes. Have a good journey!!!

  6. Depends on where you want to leave from.

    Check Transmanche Ferries :

From Newhaven to Dieppe, Newhaven to Le Havre or Portsmouth to Le Havre : http://www.transmancheferries.co.uk/

Summer break to France : 75£

    Autumn Breakaway : 69£

    Passengers United-Kingdom : 0800 917 1201

  7. A couple I met on holiday recently recommended Norfolk Line.  They paid about the same as we did (Seafrance, booked last December £63 Dover Calais return), but unlike us had the flexibility to change dates and times of crossings without extra cost.  All comopanies do cheap offers and deals if you book well in advance and online.  Also, you could try Channel Tunnel for offers.

  8. The prices vary according to time of day.

When I used to do that trip, I always used to take advantage of the crazy way the short stay trips are priced.  These are really low prices, with varying conditions (check the web sites of the various companies). Typical is after 4 pm, return before midnight, for under 20 pounds. At that price, you can ditch the return half of the ticket. Then you do the same again when you come back.

BUT: you can't use a return half of a ticket if the outgoing ticket has not been used. So, you will have to buy your return half while you are in France. The companies will not sell these tickets at the port, so you have to buy it at least a day before. Best buy from a travel agent and pay in cash - the ferry company terms and conditions include the right to charge the full price on your credit card if you don't use the return half.

  9. Hello, it depends but you can see here some info and links to cheap ferries: http://daniel.phillips.free.fr/travel.ph...
