What is the cheapest home landline in England?

I am looking for the cheapest home landline. I am currently paying £9.95 per month to the post office. Although this is cheap the service I have received it utterly appaling and i need to change urgently

Any help greatly appreciated!

The service I use is excellent, not quite as cheap as the one you are on now but I pay £10.49 by Direct Debit. They also have a range of tariffs, I see someone else suggested talk talk, well this company matches them.

What I can tell you is I had fault on the line recently and my supplier kept in touch with me, until it was repaired the day after I reported it, and then checked a couple of days later just to make sure that everything was OK. In all I got 8 calls from them. They were brilliant.
