What is the cheapest insurance for teen drivers?

I would like to know what company has the best rates from your experience, not sites to find them on please and thank you.

  1. the cheapest way is to get it insured through your parents name with you as a part time driver,there's no real good rates for teen drivers,their all way too high,if you get it added on through your parents name it will be less than half of what it normally would be,good luck.


  2. Most states allow you to post a bond rather than purchasing insurance coverage. If you can afford to do this, it is the cheapest by far. You can even get interest on the amount deposited. That's the cheapest way.

  3. Liability, is usually the cheapest route and of course it's required by law.

    It's not recommended to have only liability coverage, but unfortunately many young drivers can't afford the best coverage available on their own unless they are added to their parents policy.

  4. if you've taken a certified safe drivers course with a certificate of completion, you may be elgible for a discounted amount on your parents insurance, it varies from state to state and insurance carriers. you are still listed by insurance carriers under the assigned risk pool.
