What is the cheapest light company.. I live in pearland tx?

Get with one of the major companies and stick with them. We've had too many electric providers go belly up in recent months and their customers have been transferred to some of the companies with the highest rates. The customers don't even realize what has happened until they get an outrageous bill. TU Electric has always been reliable, so if I had to move again, I'm sure I would go with them. We didn't realize we had a choice when we moved to west Texas a few years ago, so we just had the electricity transferred from the previous owners name into ours. We got lucky and the company we're with has rates that are competitive with TU. I'm planning to stick with the provider I'm with now, but I wouldn't suggest you going with what "appears" to be the cheapest at the moment. Things are rarely what they appear to be.

I prefer Spark Power Bank.  I've had them for a few years now, and have had no problems with them.  They're usually the cheapest rate around, if you sign up for automatic payments.  Even without automatic payments, they're cheaper than most companies.  In the past, they served mostly big companies, but now they provide residential service.  Here's their website: http://www.sparkpowerbank.com/.
