First I'd call.up a few travel agents

Maybe even a cruise may be a better deal than flying.

Call  around there are plenty of good deals when you do it early.

Other wise maybe, after the kids go back to school.

But  before the Holidays.

Sometimes Thanksgiving is good as it's a American Holiday.

Christmas depends on the place lots of wealthy people take the entire family cross country and to foreign country's during Christmas so everyone can relax and not have to cook and clean.

There are a couple of times during the year you will get some good deals. The week or so after New Years, the week before Thanksgiving, and right after spring break. You will see spring time sales. Sept (hurricane month)

During the summer you will also find deals. You really have to research all the sites.

Dec 15th to April 15th is high season in the Caribbean.

June 1 to Nov 30th is hurricane season. Sept and part of October being the risky months to vacation in the Caribbean. The waters heat up and tropical storms are born. Weather is so unpredictable, the last 2 years we have been pretty lucky, this year we may get hit hard. I hope not but you still have to be aware.

Nov. or Dec.  Take a cruise- they have REALLY good deals for those two months.

Summer months..but not the  week during a holiday like July 4th, or the islands Independence day celebrations (Jamaica 1st Monday in Aug)...June and Sept maybe.

July/August/September are the cheap months. Apart from the heat, there is the risk of hurricanes. But you avoid the crowds!

And no cruise ships visit during those months.
