Hi All,

I am 35 years old man. I live in Canada and I want to go somewhere nice to relax and have fun. I went through difficult time in my life the past years - separation, leaving work etc.

Where do you recommend I go for like 2-3 weeks? (CHEAPEST POSSIBLE PLEASE)

THANKS.

  1. Not too cheap, but it's something to think about.

Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa. Just something to save up for.

  2. We did this trip for approx $6000 last year for a family of 4 so with the higher gas prices you'll still be under that with only one person. It was hotels - cabin camping - tours and a whole lot of fun. We met some many people along the way.

Day 1 - Fly to a hub city where airline fares and car rental is cheap. We chose Louisville KY. Then drive for a while

    Day 2 - A planned drive day

    Day 3 - Washington DC

    Day 4 - Annapolis, Maryland

    Day 5 - Washington DC

Day 6 - Drive thru Shenandoah State Park/ Skyline Parkway

    Day 7 - Williamsburg, VA

Day 8 - Jamestown and Virginia Beach, Va

Day 9 - Drive Day to Newburgh, New York

Day 10 - Bus Tour of New York City

Day 11 - Train into New York for more Sightseeing and Broadway play

Day12 - Drive day to Niagara Fall, Canada

    Day 13 - Niagara Falls

Day 14 - Niagara Falls to Cleveland

Day 16 - Cleveland to Louisville

    Day 17 - Depart Louisville/

  3. go to a national park and camp.  or travel around locally.

  4. Fly to Guatelmala, but skip Guate.City, take a shuttle van to Antigua for a few days.  It's a really pretty, colonial town with a great atmoshpere, perfect weather, and some volcanoes around.  I found a room for $10.  Then take a van to Panajachel on Lake Atitlan.  There we found rooms for about $6 and really good food.  It has an amazing beauty the lake and the volcanoes around, and the people are sweet and friendly.  There are solar pools and other little towns on the lake to take boats to and relax.  San Pedro is know for cheap weed if you're into that and one town, I think San Miguel, is kind of a new-age themed place with healing centers, eco-bungalows, spas, yoga retreats, etc.

Guatemala is really colorful and cheap and relaxing. You mght be able to get a flight there that's cheap enough, and once you're there, you're rich.
