  1. MTD does make cheap ones. But they also make Troy-Built. The cheapest push mower is probably a 19" Murray or Bolens. Both MTD products. See them on sale sometimes for $120


  2. push or riding? MTD makes the cheapest junk on the market.

  3. the ones with the steel chassis, they rust quick , so it's advisable to buy the aluminium ones
