What is the cheapest route to barking rail station from Gatwick? (peak time)?

I got a new job and I pay about £25 daily to work (Mon-Fri, 9-5), its so expensive.. Can anyone suggest cheaper means or cheaper routes??.. (currently, I do - Gatwick - Blackfriars - Barking)

You can use this site to work out different ways to travel, sometimes it can also help you to work out the cost too, otherwise go to the train station or the bus station, underground office or whatever, and ask.
