Accommodation is the main big expense that you can save on besides your flight.  Summer is the most expensive time.  Things start to get busy the end of June when schools get out for the summer, and family vacations start.    Winter and early spring are the cheapest time.  This year should be a cheaper time too, as with a US recession and devalued US$ we don't expect as many tourists this year and are competing to fill the hotel rooms.

Your flight is average, sometimes you can get cheaper if you are flexible and watch for sales.
