I live in the Midlands(UK), so ferry I guess I would leave from Hollyhead or Berkenhead, I have also considered flying and hiring a car, but it all needs to be cheap. also looking to shay around the temple bar area for one night then go down further into southern ireland for about 3 nights then back home, any Ideas on where to stay would be great.

  1. depends where your coimng from

  2. book in advance on the dublin to hollyhead ferry.

Try liverpool too, you might be able to cross to belfast cheaper and then drive down

  3. Start from as close to Dublin as you can.

(You didn't say where from, and it kind of helps to know that bit too!)

  4. get good samaritan to tow you

  5. you could......ask superman to drop you off.....far as I know he wont charge.

  6. Hi! if your coming down south towards Cork highly recommend, Creedons hotel Inchigeelagh, very reasonable, warm and friendly, atmosphere, then head to Gouganebarra and you'll be amazed at the beauty of it, it's still in Cork but very near to Kerry  and there you will find the well known Ring of Kerry anyway whatever you decide I hope you enjoy it and A BIG FAILTE to you.

Tell them you have broken down and need relaying back home to Dublin.

  11. 1 driving the other 3 pushing

  12. If you want you can get a Virgin train from a mainline station and the ferry included for £32.00 return per adult, and children go free. You only need to pay for children if you want to reserve them a seat on the train, I never reserve seats for my kids ( 5yrs and 3yrs ) as theres always plenty of them. I go from London Euston to Dublin ferry port. You can hire a car once you get to Dublin. You need to find out what mainline station is near you.

You book it all through Virgin Trains.  The number is 08457222333 and ask for a Dublin 14. Have fun!!!!!!
