I have an outdoor pool but my dad wants ME to find the cheapest heating. Now i'm thinking in the long-run this would be solar panel heating. Also this would be Eco friendly. However is there a way I can get it to heat in the winter too? Or is there a cheaper option?

  1. Solar cover is correct.

It looks like bubble wrap and can be fairly inexpensive.  Measure the length and width of the pool and order it on line, or cal your local pool store.

  2. We have a pool , solar cover will retain a small amount of heat. may heat top 50mm of water, BUT will not heat pool.

    Solar panels way TOOOOOO exspensive.

One way is coils of hose laid out in sun ,then use a pump to slowly circulate to pool.

Or buy Wet suits out of tesco ,cheapest option.

  3. A Solar Cover  look online   at IN THE SWIM

  4. breath on it a bunch of times

  5. pee in it alot.

  6. Sundance Pools would be the people to ask

  7. There are a number of ways to do it, but a solar cover is BY FAR the cheapest way to do it.

Contact your local pool supply place.

  8. If you live in or close to the country side then think about straw burning boiler My friend has had one for twenty years and his pool is always at 70° F summer and winter, very little ash from a bale of straw, and all it cost him is about £100 a year.
