try priceline.  u can name ur own price for the flights u want.  i've never tried them though, but i'd give them try anytime!!  but i have heard from friends that they r good to deal with.  look at hotline.com too.  but i've heard their not that great with flights, but good with hotels.

My friends and I are headed to Berlin in a couple of weeks. I don't know if I recommend it (we'll see how it goes) but here's our route: We booked tickets to London on Aer Lingus, and we're flying to Berlin with Easy Jet. It's definitely cheap (under 1000 USD), but looks like it's going to be kind of a pain.

Watch out for Ryan Air...apparently they're not too reliable (as far as flight times and cancellations go) and there are TONS of fees.

Yeah, if you can travel in like, January-March, you can get a cheap ticket, $200 or less.  Also, tickets to London are always cheaper.  Try flying into London then using a site like ryanair.com to fly into Germany

Also try to get the tickets about a month in advance for the lowest fares

if you book a flight in advance you can find really good deals. plus- they sell cheap "one way" tickets- that means that it doesn't matter for them how long you wanna stay- so the duration of your stay wont affect the price.
