What is the cheapest way to fly?

I want to know the absolute cheapest way to fly. I realize that prices will be different depending on where I'm going, so I don't need to be told that. Comfort and number of stops is not an issue.

A few factors that affect the cost of flying:

- Time of year

- Day of the week

- Airline

- Charter flight or not

- Locations you are flying from and to

If you can find a Charter flight for your departure and destination, you could save a lot of money.  When I was searching for Charter flights, I did a search in Google.

Also, go to one of those sites that searches multiple airlines.

i actually have found that Southwest has had the cheapest airline tickets so far. Thats the only airline i use. Im 22 have tons of bills, and need to save as much money as possible when i fly. My last trip was from AZ to N. carolina nonstop for only 260 bucks. They have great deals when you get the ticket online. Also give enough time in advance as prices are normally cheaper when you do.
