  1. HI there

Gas has gone up a lot since your friend went, I'll bet.

My mom is looking into the same trip, and I think bus is the cheapest.

It's a long trip for sure, though.

I think flying is the way to go, if you get  a seat sale and are flexible on dates, times. They'll still get you on the fuel surcharges, but can't be helped.

My daughter looked into delivering vehicles  (driving) from Toronto to Vancouver, but it's hard to find a company that needs random drivers.

  2. You can get some good deals from selloffvacations.com

When you consider all the food and drink costs associated with taking the bus you are better off flying.

    farechase.com as well

Your friend got a "Go Anywhere fare and probably spent $80.00 in food and drink.

You can get a flight for $500.00 return

Westjet will get you there for $250.00 as a sponsor deal @farechase.com

  3. www.westjet.ca

    find  the  seat sales

try  book a flight, and you can check the prices for certain days.  Some days are normal , some are expensive, some are very cheap, cheaper than Greyhound (safer too).
