  1. train

  2. buy a train ticket but watch for pickpockets on the train and in the terminal. not the best part of town.

  3. You can take the train to Roma Termini for 11 euro per person. At Fiumcino look for the signs -Stazione FS/Railway Station; it takes about 30 minutes. see: http://goeurope.about.com/gi/dynamic/off...

  4. it's less than 10 bucks to take the train directly from the airport to the station. Pleasant 15-20 min ride. Get a ticket from the kiosk at the airport, hop on the train, and voila. There is also luggage storage on the train cars at each end if you have too much to sit with on the train. Beware of taking a taxi to your hotel if it's near the train station. I rode in an taxi for 10 min, paying 6 bucks, when I was less than 2 blocks from the station. Duh me. Walking is quite easy dependent upon your hotel location. If you need a hotel suggestion, email me, I know a great place.

  5. walk

  6. Trust a gypsy to give you a ride on a scooter.  Very cheap way to travel.

  7. I think that in terms of time and money the best and safest way to reach Rome termini station from Fiumicino is hiring a private van http://www.rome-airport.org/rome-airport...
