What is the cheapest way to get to the Galapagos?

is it better to wait until I'm in Ecuador to book a boat and does anyone have a ball park figure?

The ONLY way to get to the Galapagos in on Aero Gal. No other airline is allowed. Also, if you go, be sure to have $100 in cash in your pocket. That's the cost of entrance into the park.

You can't just go to the Galapogos Islands. Visitor numbers are strictly limited to preserve the habitat for the wildlife.

There are numerous airlines that fly to The Galapagos, from Quito TAME's flights go out at 7:30 and 9:30am every day of the week and AEROGAL i'm not sure the times... Try not to ask serious questions in yahoo answers as your going to get amature answers and most people just guess , try tripadvisor for more reliable content.......Ren
