What is the cheapest way to get to the Outlet malls that are on the outskirts of Rome, Italy?

we are going in September. We dont want to rent a car and I heard that a taxi would be quite expensive. I am wondering if maybe the subway or train could get you close enough so that a taxi would not be that costly.

If you are taking about the Fashion distict which is the outlet mail outside rome on the south end of the city I'vebeen there. You are going to have to drive because taking a taxi will be very very experience. It is in the middle of no where and its not that easy to get to. Also if you are going there to get deals they are not really deals at all. Its all the high price designer stuff and then American companies like Nike and foot locker at way higher prices then in the States.

The answer up me is right, CastelRomano is in the middle of nowhere, Valmonte ,  http://www.fashiondistrict.it/  the biggest outlet center of Italy is in the Latium region too.
