What is the cheapest way to go to Godalming, Guildford from London?

I'm going to Godalming, Guildford this coming Friday and will return on Sunday. I don't want to pay for the return train ticket £20+. Do you know is there any other ways I can travel by not spending more than £11 (the cheapest as possible) for a return ticket (or 2 single tickets). I have low budget for this trip though but I really need to go there. Thank you.

you could try a bus?

you can go from guildford (park barn) to london victoria - it'll take about an hour / hour and a quarter each way on national express for £13.20 for a standard return, various times available
