  1. It depends on where your item is going, how fast you want it delivered as courier services don't cover remote areas, and there are additional costs. It is best to get a quote from UPS,  DHL  but I find UPS cheaper if you're getting insurance cover with it. If you're local you can always use the Postal courier service which is definitely much cheaper like PosLaju  Malaysia. Only problem...no insurance cover which is a must if your items are expensive.  Best to check out before you deliver. They have toll free numbers.

  2. I know a bit about this topic as far as shipping goes within the USA anyway.

I used to have a very lucrative Ebay business where I shipped out approximately 20 packages weekly and I preferred shipping with USPS ( United States Postal Service) and using First Class whenever possible. Things shipped First Class require their weight to be up to 13 ounces maximum and on average a package weighing 10 ounces would run me about $2.70 to ship all the way across the united states. And the real benefit was that the receiver would have the package within 2-4 days maximum which is great for Customer Relations.

When a package weighs more than 13 ounces I go with either Parcel Post or Priority Flat Rate.

    Hope this helps....

  3. For lighter and smaller items, USPS is usually the cheaper option, but for larger/heavier items, UPS/Fedex is usually cheaper.

Simply go to their websites and you can get a price quote.
