  1. get the citylink.

    www.citylink.ie

  2. Dave w's right - the cheapest public transport is the regular bus like the no. 41 - it's 14 fare stages from the airport to the city centre ("an lar" on the front) and the cash fare (coins only - no change given) is €2. Note that for safety reasons there's limited luggage space on regular buses, and Dublin Bus don't guarantee the ability to take luggage aboard.

  3. Get a number 41 bus into the city. You can get them to the left as you come out of arrivals.  They are a local route so it will stop at all stops en route. It will take about 45 minutes to city centre at a cost of around €2

  4. Dublin Bus. Its probably the cheapest too.

  5. Walk

  6. By bus or like everyones saying walk!

  7. By bus.

Dublin Airport (DUB) is located about 10 Kilometres (6 miles) north of Dublin City Centre.

These companies all offer bus services between the Airport, and City Centre/Dublin Area. There is no need to book seats in advance, just show up at the bus stop. The buses all depart Dublin Airport from just outside the main arrivals hall. Consult the individual operators' websites for a more detailed list of where their bus routes serve around Dublin. A staff presence is available at the airport should you require assistance finding the correct bus.

AirCoach - Serves Dublin Airport to: City Centre / Ballsbridge / Donnybrook; City Centre / Stillorgan / Sandyford / Leopardstown. http://www.aircoach.ie/

Dublin Bus - Dublin Airport to: City Centre / Busaras (Central Bus Station) / Connolly Railway Station / Heuston Railway Station. There are also services to: Rathfarnham, Balbriggan, Swords, Rolestown, Dun Laoghaire, Woodbrook, and Portmarnock. http://www.dublinbus.ie/your_journey/air...

Fares: Adult Single €6.00    Return €10.00

    Child Single €3.00    Return €5.00

  8. The aircoach or dublin bus.

  9. Apart from Walking, Cycling, Getting a Friend to Drive you,Get the Blue Bus that takes you to the Rail Stations and O Connell Street ,It used to be € 4 Euro but now it has gone up to €7 Euro. The Taxi can cost around €15- 20 Euro or more depending on the time of Day.

  10. walk it it just doesnt come any cheaper till the government privitise it

  11. Samantha B are Berba17 have the correct answers, nutty. Ignore all the rest. Dublin bus, try number 41, or 16 and Dublin Bus now have nice stewards at the door, orienting people who don't have a clue. I hate Dublin Bus as a whole, but at least on that point, they got it right!

  12. the lewis

  13. Don't walk, it's miles.

There is a regular bus service, costs 6 Euros each way, that is the cheapest way without walking for hours.

  14. a bus and its quicker than any other way aswell

  15. Try a liftshare, or hitch, or steal a gypsies horse.

No, don't really steal a horse.  The gypsy will curse you and you'll get warts all over your nose.

  16. As dave said the bus not the coach is the cheapest way of getting from the airport into the city center. There the 41a b and c and also the 33 and the 33a. I think there's a few other buses that go from the north side into the city center but i just don't know the numbers of the buses. The buses are yellow you cant miss them just look for any that have Dublin on the front or "an lar" which is the Irish for the city center. With the building going on they have changed all the bus stops not I'm not 100% sure anymore where the buses depart from. I think if you walk through from arrivals go through where the car park is on the other side is where they pick up. I'm sure if you ask someone they can help you. The price is about €1.75 you can ask the driver. Just remember dublin buses dont give change and dont take notes so you will need to have coins with you. The buses run very regular there's 1 about every 10-15 mins

  17. Dont get the Aircoach = around €10

    Dont get the Airlink(747,748) = €5 or €6

Get the public bus which departs from right outside the airport.

There are various routes which all go to town.

here are the routes with their timetables(you will pay less than half of the cost of the airlink by using these buses)
