I am interested in going on a international high school exchange program (from New Zealand) and was wondering which one is the most affordable?

    but the YFU in my area wasnt very helful

    im sorry but i kinda have to warn you about that one

    well, I have no idea about New Zealands exchange programs. BUT I know that you can get a scholorship (sometimes), depends where you want to go/how much money your family as/if you pass a special test etc.

    Do you have any preferred country to go to?

    Plus note, that the cheapest one does not necessarily mean that this is good, too.

    How long do you want to go? When being in a foreign country, make sure that the program has some kind of counceling there, too (when you have problems you can go to them).

    And please check out, what for the organization uses the money for, i.e. is it commercial (most of the time pretty brochures etc) or not?

    I know that YfU (youth for understanding: http://www.yfu.co.nz) is good and not too expensive (but I don't know about NZ-version), and AFS is also ok.
