  3. Simply put, childhood is the time of person's life from infancy through adolescence when the child would become an adult.

In most states the person is considered an adult at the age of 18. In some of those states it is 18 or if in high school at the age of 18 then upon graduation.

In Alabama, Delaware, Nebraska, and Wyoming the age is 19. In Mississippi the age is 21.

In Puerto Rico and American Samoa the age is 14.

  4. I'LL answer that question when you become an adult!

  5. Childhood is the formative period between infancy and teenage years.

In the eyes of the law, a person is a child until they attain their legal majority - which  can be 18 19 or 21 years, depending on the jurisdiction. But in general terms, a young person is deemed to have left childhood by the time they reach their teen years. Which is a pity. That should be part of childhood too - but you can't really issue driver's licenses and credit cards to children.
