What is the childrens story about pancake day or where can i find it?

I'm doing a nursery class on pancake day and i can remember a childrens story of how it started from when i was a child and woundered where i could find it.

I have no clue here in America about pancake day, but here is a cute book about pancakes. It is a class favorite.  "If You Give a Pig a Pancake"

In an old story about Olney a woman was cooking her pancakes when she heard the bells of St Peter and St Paul's Church calling her to worship. She ran out of her house still holding the pancake in its pan, and still wearing her apron. This is how the Pancake Race originated.
