What is the climate in China?

I'm trying to help my son with his project and I can't find what the climate is like in china. Can anyone tell me??? thxs

China has 3 zones, the northern, central and southern zone.

The northern zone (with Beijing on its edge) has summer daytime temperatures of more than 30 degrees Celsius and winters of Arctic severity.

The central zone (containing Shanghai) has a temperate continental climate with very hot summers and cold winters.

The southern zone (containing Guangzhou) has a subtropical climate with very hot summers and mild winters.
