The closest airports to LAX, other than LAX itself, are Burbank and Long Beach.

I think there is an airport off of Century Blvd.  I see the planes start to land on my way to Newport for the weekend.  That must be the one next to LAX.

Anyway, I have gone to that airport terminal 9 all the time.  See you there.
