What is the closest beach to Troy, Michigan?

I might be moving to Michigan soon, and I was wondering if there were any beaches in OR near Troy. Anyone know?

  1. Check out Saugatuck, named one of the world's best beaches...fun town, great place to relax.


  2. Thelma G. Spencer Park is a smaller beach area (john R road)

    Stony Creek Metro park which is a much bigger park

    This website contains every public beach in Michigan and the history of that beach (for closures) during the past few years.
