The closest would probably be the Capo d'Africa http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/kolosse... or the Hotel Celio http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/kolosse... However, you can pick any hotel in Rome and still see the Colosseum first. There are a lot of other possible choices that are in easy walking distance.
