The closest towns to Loiza are:

* Canovanas: which decades ago was a "barrio" of Loiza. In Canovanas there is not much to see, just a Beltz Outlets shopping center and the horse racetrack "Camarero".

* Carolina: This city has the International Airport, the tourist area of Isla Verde (hotels, beach, restaurants, etc.), shopping centers, parks/sport facilities.

The right next after Carolina there is the capital city of San Juan which has more hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, the historical sightseeing area of Old San Juan.

Loiza is close to San Juan and Fajardo which gives you and advantage. You can go towards Viejo San Juan and enjoy the historic landmarks, the shopping and everything el viejo san juan has to offer and at night you can enjoy the bars live music and great people. Or you could travel to fajardo and take a ferry to culebra for the day and enjoy beautiful clear water beaches white sand and great pizza lol right off the dock in the town in culebra!

Come to Ocean Park, a beautiful beach community in San Juan, close to Condado, Isla Verde and the Old City. Loiza is just 20 minutes away.
