  1. The moon moves across the night sky, so the closest star will keep changing.  It will even be different depending on where on Earth you are looking from.


  2. I assume you're talking about last night, when the closest bright object to the Moon would have been the planet Jupiter. The Moon is gradually moving away from Jupiter, however, and in a few days time, it will be in a different part of the sky altogether.

  3. There is none closet than our sun.
