is it easy to get public transportation from Milan central to the airport (bergamo)?

Yes, I live in northern Italy and fly out of Bergamo sometimes. There are buses from Milano Centrale to Orio al Serio. They run every 30 minutes starting at 4 am and cost 7.90 euro one-way or 1450 for a return ticket. Actually, there are two companies that provide service, so there are twoice as many buses. The other company also starts at 4 am and costs 8 euro.

If you're standing in front of the station and facing it, the buses will be on the right hand side part way toward the back of the station. You can buy tickets at the bus.
